I'm back

I know its been a long while since I posted here but I have had a lot of crap going on, from crazy room mates threatening my life, to relationship problems, to people I thought were myf riends basically stabbing me in the back. but now all the drama seems to be dying down to a minimal so I will be here on a regular basis to share my thoughts on all things gothy, my poetry, and a myriad of other things. I also just got a new camera phone so I will be sharing not only photos that I find on the web but also my own photography from time to time .

Lets start on the positive side with the most romantic songs for goth couples.

4. The Cure - Friday I'm In love: I would be remiss if I didn't mention The Cure on this list as they have always been one of the greatest goth bands out there.

7. Type O Negative - Love you to death: Ok so they are more goth metal than goth rock still they were an awesome band and every girl would want to have her guy obey her every wish and worship at her feet.

10. Judas Priest - Love Bites: Ok, Ok, so they aren't even close to being goth but this song is defiinitely goth friendly and is about a vampiric embrace. To me that screams romantic and besides I had to put Priest on the list as they are one of the metal bands that I would go see in concert.

We Are Strong

There's a rumor going around that boys are tougher than girls. Oh please. Can you carry a 10lb baby in your stomach for 9 months and survive hours of labor. Can you cook, clean,and talk on the phone all at the same time? Can you bleed for a week and not die? Can you walk in 5 inch heels? Can you cry all night then wake the next day like everything is okay? Remember guys, women are only helpless till their nail polish dries. Put this on your blog or facebook wall if your proud to be a woman

Betrayal

In life there are people who will claim to be your friend, say they have your back, and would never let you down. Then the first chance they get they stick a knife right in the center of your back. They rip your heart out of your chest and make your soul bleed. As you lay there dying, withering to nothingness, they are laughing at your anguish, and at your pain. You're begging, you're pleading for them to make the pain stop they refuse to lend a hand, they wont even offer one, just one drop of blood to save your life. Not even as the abyss wraps its slimy tentacles around you extinguishing your last breath. Your body lies there growing cols, and they stand there laughing. They're still laughing.

Lies

People lie. Its a fact of life. They tell you one thing then either try to renig, or they do something completely different without even letting you know. Don't fool yourself. Don't fool yourself. Everyone does it. Friends, family, sisters brothers mothers fathers daughters sons wives and husbands. There are even times when we lie to ourselves. I mean think about it, how many times have we all made promises to ourselves that we would go on a diet, be a better friend parent or spouse, that we would stick to our budget this time? From the smallest white lie to the biggest lie ever told, the bible, we believe as well as tell lies. What is worse is when people lie to us and they don't even care how we feel when they try to renig or when they are found to be liars and our hearts are broken, or we rage with anger. There is no remorse, and no apologies. Because they simply don't care and are only thinking of what they want and how to do it or how to get it. Its simply the truth, people lie and they don't care about the consequences or who it hurts.

Disrespect

Disrespect. It comes in many different forms. Some are subtle, others are blatent. Still none of it is acceptable. The utter disregard for the feelings of others, especially friends and family creates dissension and tears apart relationships.Lies are a huge form of disrespect. 

Trust

Trust. Its a very complex and delicate thing. Its something not so easily given, but it can be shattered in a mere moment. Trust is based on blind faith. It really is no different than the blind faith that we place in gods goddesses angels and demons. The same blind faith that we place on the idea that the moon will set every morning and the sun will rise. However, when we give others our trust we put ourselves at risk of being hurt. It makes us vulnerable. The question we must ask ourselves is - Is it worth putting ourselves in such a position and if we do are we ready for the ride ahead and whatever may lie on the other end of the road it takes is down.
